There is a reason that the 28-year-old has risen from the bank press to a regular player: Sinani has improved enormously, especially when it comes to ball mopping. « We talked to him that this is a bit missing in his repertoire, » explains Blessin. « How he moored the balls, how he gave way, how he did not lose it – we talked about that. He then brought his playful skills back in. »

The creative player’s football talent is beyond any doubt anyway. Above all, its dangerous standards – one also led to success against Leverkusen – are of great value for the Pauli game. « It took a long time and could have come to me earlier, » says the coach. It is therefore very likely that Sinani will also be in the starting eleven in Bremen (5.30 p.m.) on Sunday.
