Martin. In addition, the struggle for three thousand compensation is increasing in Ecco. Today, about half of the released employees from the ECCO shoe company, after the morning change, met before the factory to show loudly.

Ecco apparently does not want to share

The afternoon change had to start work, but the meeting in front of the factory was still quite loud. Employees from the morning change whistled, trumpeted, screamed and waved banners. « We ask dignity and fairness » or « Without us you should have a bare R … – even such passwords have appeared over the heads of the protesters.

They express their dissatisfaction with the attitude of the leadership, which is willing to pay only severance undertaking in the collective agreement after 25 years of operation.

Employees think that they deserve 3,000 extra more. « When they decided in the Danish concern that where they close it, I think that one of the things they took into account was the cost of released employees, » said the trade unionist Pavol Hustava, according to which the fact that the Slovak management was pushing to be as low as possible. « They made us a light target for leading the concern in Denmark, » he said.

The management of three thousand compensation is prevented. But Pavol Hustava claims that Ecco can afford it economically. « The owner is one of the richest people in the European Union and the Group claims to be financially healthy. So it is not that they don’t have it, but they don’t want to share it, » he said.
