Three shelf meters for bloody business

Have you ever wondered why supermarkets have such incredibly huge shelves for razor accessories in your drugstore department? Although I have been putting the steadily sprouting meadow on my face every day for decades, I have not yet been behind it.

What there is not everything to see on the many shelf meters: razor with one, with three, with five or even with seven blades. Holds handle for half a life or plastic to throw away. The man has the choice between shaving foam, shaving gel or – all retro – soap and brush. I love it practical and uncomplicated, so I always buy a large pack of razor blades that are enough for me for a whole year.

The disadvantage of this: If I stand in front of the shelf the following year, I regularly forgot which brand my razor has and what sounds it needs. The female readers are told that nothing is compatible with each other. Recently it happened to me again that I opened a newly bought pack and found that I held the wrong make in my hands. I put it on the stack with the other packs in the bathroom, with which I don’t know what to do with the best will.

Maybe I will jump onto the retro wave and will use a classic razor in the future. Although: a wrong movement and I cut my throat. Then I prefer to mutate into a hipster and let me grow a full beard. My supermarket has already taken care of this potential decision: there are three shelves for beard maintenance right next to the shaving.
