Thousands of Bucharest from four sectors remain without hot water

The Municipal Company of the Termoenergetica Bucharest (CMTEB) announces on Monday that in the following days, replacement, modernization and repairs will be carried out on the pipes of the thermal network, in several areas of the Capital, the interventions having different periods of achievement.

Thus, the supply of the heat agent for hot water will be stopped, in the next period, to buildings in sectors 1, 2, 4 and 6.

According to a statement, the following interventions will be performed:

* Primary thermal network – section C8 Basarab – C10 DTM, Sector 1

Elsaco company will perform modernization works within the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM), Lot 2 – Objective 11 and Lot 2 – Objective 8.

The works will be carried out from Monday until June 23, at 11:30 pm. In order to achieve them it is necessary to stop the supply of the heat agent for hot water consumption to 15 thermal points and an industrial objective (160 blocks and buildings) from the following areas: Calea Griviței, Barbu Lăutaru Street, Turda Street, Nicolae Titulescu Boulevard and Banu Manta Boulevard.

At the time of the start of the pipeline replacement, its age was almost 45 years old.

* Primary thermal network – pipe with diameter 500 mm – in the area of ​​the Museum of Geology, Mexico Street, Dorobanti Calea in Sector 1.

The Municipal Energy Company Services will perform modernization works on the primary thermal network, within the project ‘Rehabilitation of the district heating system of Bucharest’, objective 4 – Magistral II – III Grozavești, between June 16, until June 30, at 23:30.

In order to carry out the interventions it is necessary to interrupt the supply of hot water to eight thermal points (21 blocks and buildings) in the following areas: Iancu de Hunedoara Boulevard, Calea Dorobanți, Stefan cel Mare and George Enescu Street.

At the time of the start of the pipeline replacement, its age was 42 years.

* Primary thermal network – pipe with diameter 600 mm – in the area of ​​D. Golescu Boulevard, North Station in Sectors 1 and 6.

Repair works will be carried out that require the cessation of the supply of the heat agent for hot water to 27 thermal points, three modules and 19 objectives (240 blocks and buildings) from June 16, until June 30, at 23:30.

Customers from Crângași, Giulești, Regie, Dinicu Golescu, Titulescu, Banu Manta, Gara de Nord, Calea Griviței, I.Ghe, will be affected. Duca, Ai Cuza, Buzești, Victoriei Square.

The year of commissioning of the network in these areas is 1967, this portion with almost 60 years of operation.

* Primary thermal network – DN 500/600/800 mm pipeline, in the area of ​​Oteșani streets, bread machine and lady’s tei in Sector 2.

Modernization works will be carried out within the project ‘Rehabilitation of the heating system for the South 1 bus – Lot 1 – Objective 6 – section C02 – CC3 ′ – CT10’, which require the cessation of the supply of the thermal agent for hot water to 26 thermal points (363 blocks and the Fundeni Hospital) from June 16, until June 16, until June 23:00. At the time of the start of the pipeline replacement, its age was 50 years.

* Primary thermal network – DN 500 mm pipeline, in the area of ​​Tineretului Boulevard and VV Stanciu, Cr Motru, Calea Văcărești.

Repair works will be carried out that require the cessation of the supply of the heat agent for hot water to six thermal points (129 blocks and two economic agents) from June 16, at 09:00, until June 18, at 23:00.

The year of commissioning of the pipeline in this area is 1992, this portion of network with almost 35 years of operation.

* Provisional making for the CFM1-CC2-CC3 section, DN 150 mm pipe on Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard in Sector 4.

For the execution of the works, it is necessary to stop the supply of the heat agent for hot water to a thermal point (eight blocks) from June 16, at 09:00, until June 20, at 23:00.

The year of commissioning of the pipeline in this area is 1987, this portion of network with almost 40 years of operation.
