The Ministry of Education has announced which high schools the prospective students want. This year, at the time of enrollment, the achievements will be considered for the first time on the national testing (NPZ). The results will be known before the transfer of applications and they will also have high schools. Those who wrote the NPZ will make it easier to decide whether or not to transfer the application to another school. Those who did not write the NPZ will wait until the end of the ninth grade.
The ministry reported that 26,008 vacancies have applied for 23,933 candidates. There are still many vacancies, but the desires are not arranged in accordance with the free places. The most surplus is at high schools, where about a third of the entries want. Most of them are applied for secondary vocational education programs, as well as the trend of increasing enrollment in lower vocational education programs.

Candidates have up to 6. May have the opportunity to transfer the application to another school or to another program. The ministry is thinking that there are enough vacancies on all programs: “Some schools, especially those who run a gymnasium program, will certainly decide to accept any newcomer at the expense of places reserved for potential repetitions, since they do not expect much. We get about 500 additional vacancies each year on this account and by designing nodnormative wards. «
Great enrollment
This year, 172 young people want to go to the high school and the Rudolf Maister Kamnik high school, with 112 vacancies. Branislav Rauter He said they wanted to take them as much as possible: “We will have to decide whether we would open another department, which we would like to do for Kamnik, and the mayor asks us so that they would not close the door to the Kamnicans. But the biggest problem is space, our school is already bursting at the seams. «
In recent years, the people of Ljubljana have also been going to schools in the Ljubljana vicinity after they were not admitted to Ljubljana high schools. Again this year, there is a lot of interest in Bežigrad, Poljane, Jože Plečnik, the Sports Department of Šiška… At the same time there is a lot of interest, much more in the proportion than for high schools, for some secondary vocational and vocational schools, and lower education programs.

Some secondary schools have already posted how many points from the ratings the candidates who want to enroll in them must have. If there are enrollment restrictions at these schools, it will not only be important, but also the achievements at the NPZ. These will be known on April 22, they explained at the ministry: “We will then import them into the enrollment application, so high schools will also have information available on NPZ achievements. At the same time, information points will be calculated at the time, taking into account the estimates of 7. And 8th grade and the achievements at the NPZ. ”Those who did not write and have an apology for this will only receive alternate points after the end of the 9th grade, the ministry explained.

In the meantime, the results of national knowledge tests will already be known.
Those who did not write the NPZ will get points at the end of the 9th grade.
But some parents are very concerned. We were written to the father of a nine -year -old, who warns that uncertainty is too big this year: « It is impossible to realistically evaluate the possibilities for enrollment, and many may not be able to enroll in the desired school. It should be borne in mind that some schools will close within the first time and then only schools with another will remain. Students who did not write NPZ for justifiable reasons will be punished, knowing the least and will have to wait for the longest for information. «
