Marko Perkovic Thompson He is preparing for one of the most anticipated music events of the year, a big concert at the Zagreb Hippodrome, scheduled for July 5. About half a million people are expected to gather this spectacle, which was previously called a ‘concert of the century’.
Preparations for the concert have been going on for weeks, and Thompson regularly informs his fans through social networks about the progress of work and the arrival of the equipment. On Instagram, he recently shared several photos from the Hippodrome, with the message: ‘The works are progressing, equipment is coming’.
An imposing stage with top -notch production, the most modern lighting and a strong healing will be set on the hypodrome, so that all visitors can enjoy the concert regardless of the distance.
The stage will be extremely large, 36 and 150 meters high, with 1,100 lighting fixtures and 2100 LED screens, and some of the equipment comes from Dubai because it was not possible to provide everything in Croatia. According to the organizers at a press conference, the stage has 500 tons of scaffolding, 2150 square meters of LED lighting. They also announced a ‘drone show’, there will be 1000 drones in the sky, and the concert itself will last at least two and a half hours.
They pointed out that it should not happen that there is no water and state that they have secured 2.5 million bottles of water, tanks, technical water, the spins will be placed in the hippodrome.
– The sanitary part, there was a lot of writing about, what matters is that when it goes around the world and looking at other events, people resolve it smartly. There are also pissers and cabins themselves. We will have about 2500 toilet cabin and 500 meters of pissoa – they explained.
On the eve of the concert, Thompson also released a new song ‘Skipped Line’, which will be on his new album ‘Pilgrim’, announced for June 13th.
