From Wednesday evening, April 30 at 8 pm to the night from Sunday 4 to Monday 5 May, the Agency for Roads and Traffic expects a sturdy nuisance on the E40 towards Brussels at the Sint-Stevens-Woluwe junction. The agency restores the road surface over a length of 2,500 meters.

The asphalt pavement of the right -hand lane and the connection loop to the Brussels Ring will be renewed during the works. Due to the heavy freight traffic that passes daily, there is a rail formation at that location.
To be able to work safer, the contractor takes two lanes on the E40. The Starrebeek driveway and the exit to the Brussels ring road are also closed during the works. Traffic that runs on the E40 and wants to go to the Ring continues on the E40 and makes a turning movement at the entrance and exit complex on the Communicslaan in Evere. Via the Cora roundabout at the Sint-Stevens-Woluwe junction, these road users connect to the Brussels inner or outer ring.
Traffic that wants to go to Brussels from Nossegem takes away a road via the Mechelsesteenweg (N227) and follows the E40 towards Liège. These road users make the turning movement at the complex in Bertem. Through traffic towards the airport best takes into account delays and strong nuisance during the extended weekend of 1 May.
