Training before bed is not such a good idea
When the job lasts long, the way home is slow, and cooking dinners last forever, it’s normal to try to insert fast training before you go to bed. Better than practicing at all, isn’t it? Unfortunately, a recent study brings bad news: intense exercise just before bed can negatively affect sleep, writes Miss7.
After monitoring physical activity, sleeping and hearted activities, the International Team Researchers revealed to sleep longer, a smaller number of sleeping heart, and lower heart rate variability – and both are usually associated with health risks.

In order to lighten the correctness of these public health guidelines, Leota and his colleagues conducted a new study, published in the magazine Nature Communications. The team followed the participants with more than one sensor biometric devices and collected data worth four million nights to investigate the potential connection between late training, exercise, sleep and heart activity during sleep.
During data analysis, age, gender, annual times, a day of the week, levels of fitness were taken into account, and how the participants slept the night before. The results connect late, hard exercise with the above signs of broken health of sleep.

The trainings that were considered strenuously involved exercises that have caused permanently elevated breathing rates, a heart rate, body temperature and mental awake, like interval training of high intensity, long run or playing football. So, « if they exercise within four hours before bed, people can choose short exercises, like light running or swimming, to reduce sleep disorder and allow the body to relax, » Leota added.
