This summer new parking lots will appear in Narva-Yesuu

The city of Narva-Yesuu is preparing for the new season: two new parking lots are being built, they will accommodate more than a hundred cars. In addition, new parking machines will appear in the resort city. At the same time, parking prices this year will not increase.

In the sections of Ayia, 27 and Suprelusa, 2, the construction of a new parking lot has already begun. 72 places for cars, including 3 for people with disabilities and 3 for electric vehicles (charging will be delivered a little later). Secondly, the project will be expanded by the access road to Supreluz, street lighting and parking will be installed, a pedestrian path between Aiya and Vabadus streets is laid, and landscaping will be carried out.

Lydia Koydula Street: Convenient and environmentally friendly

Another parking will appear on Lydia Koydula Street, next to the Noorus spa hotel and the Apart-hotel Merepargi. It will take 650 square meters. m and will accommodate up to 35 cars. Specialists of the council chose the place so as not to harm nature: only old, sick or dangerous trees were removed.

How the parking will work in 2025

From May 1 to September 30, parking in the city is paid. Good news: prices for seasonal subscriptions remained the same: from April 15 to 30, a parking ticket can be bought for 35 euros, from May 1 to 15 – for 45 euros, and from May 16 – at full cost, for 150 euros.

New machines for payment

In 2025, three parking machines will appear in the resort Narva-Yesuu, where it will be possible to pay in cash or card. They will be delivered: at the COOP store (J. Poska, 26), at the final stop of bus No. 31, next to the Meresuu spa hot

Caution: private parking

There are private parking lots in the city where city tickets do not work. They are marked with signs and signs, so look carefully where you leave the car so as not to get a fine. And do not forget: during city events, parking is also paid!

The opinion of local residents

Despite the fact that parking in the summer season in the resort city is organized well, one cannot ignore the complaints of local residents and guests of the city. Some of them shared their opinions about parking with a correspondent of the Narva newspaper.

Alexander, a resident of Narva: “The markings and location of the signs are not always clear. Even with a seasoned parking ticket, you cannot be sure that you will not get a fine. The employees of the council will be fined immediately with any petty shortage. Although, in my opinion, it is worth considering that Narva-Yesuu is still a resort city, and people come here with a good mood, and they come like a good mood, and they come like it like Regime object ”.

Irina, a resident of Narva-Yesuu: “It was amazing for us when our guests received a fine that they had parked right at the gates of our house. The logic is not entirely clear here. I, as a private homeowner, have an obligation to maintain this part of the city territory, remove it, and my guests should pay for the parking lot when they come to me.”
