This is what the expert says about changing technical exams
– Within a few years, the European Commission would introduce that cars older than 10 years would not have to be taken every two years, but every year. How many cars could this affect in our country?
– There are more than four million cars in Hungary. And the car stock has an average age of more than fifteen years. So at least there are two and a half million that are affected.
– To what extent would the exam stations be burdened?
– There are more than a thousand stations in Hungary, which is enough to carry out all necessary tests. As far as I know, there would also be a change in the investigations, as many road safety or environmental elements are not or not properly investigated according to today’s regulations.
– How much would you burden the family cashier?
– that State has just raised the amount of examination: Currently, it is HUF 26700. Exam bases can add surplus if they are prepared for repair. If the control of vehicles becomes stricter, this will also mean that it will cost less, as less repair will be needed as the vehicles will be in better condition.
– Do you consider regulation a good idea?
– Driving has not only opportunities but also obligations. Transport safety and harmful material emissions in Hungary are of paramount importance. All of our health and safety depends on this.
