A hearing is held at the Zagreb County Court at a repeated trial of former SDP Sisak-Moslavina County Marina Lovric Merzel charged by USKOK for payment of private costs with the county money. Marina Lovric Merzel was brought from a penitentiary to Pozega to the County Court. In court, she stated that she was considered guilty and agreed to pay 16,122 euros as the Sisak County of Moslavina asked her.
– I have nothing to present except to admit and accept everything that is charged with me – said Lovric Merzel when asked if he would give defense.

– The defense requested as little punishment as possible, since Lovric Merzel has already acknowledged at the first hearing, and they are looking for a year of one year to pay the compensation required by the County.
USKOK accused her of anxious advisory services and that she with councilors, friends and relatives concluded fictitious contracts for a work, but also that the county paid for her dishes and drinks at various meetings, private lunches and celebrations, and that she had received food and fuel for private needs at the county expense.

In the proceedings in which she was already convicted, she was also judged by Turudic, who withdrew from the proceedings when he went to the High Criminal Court. He refused several times to accept the settlement of Uskok with the ‘repentant’ Zeljko Zuzic.
Last year, the High Criminal Court decided to go to jail for six years for abuse of office and authority, receiving bribe, money laundering and forgery. Former President of the Supervisory Board of the road Sisak Silvijo Kobeščak was sentenced to one year in prison. In addition, they took away her apartment and equipment purchased with a bribe and was taken away from 90 thousand euros.
For a year and a half, Bernard Popec were sentenced to selling former mayor and nephew of former county Dalibor Rozankovic above the price, accused of having been washed by the money Lovric Merzel received as a bribe with the purchase of the apartment.
