This is how the Oberhauser celebrate their cherry blossom festival

The cherry flower festival 2025 in Augsburg-Oberhausen: This time with two stages
From April 24th to April 27th, the cherry blossom festival offers some programs. More culinary stands are planned than last year and many musical performances for visitors of all ages. For the first time there are two stages – a main stage and a slightly smaller one. « This underlines the festival character, » says neighborhood manager Werner Hartmann. The physical well-being is taken care of: the food and beverage stands offer crepes, burgers of the butcher shop Mayer, sausages and a bar from Bob’s Gastro or Habo’s beers. There is also a « beer tasting » with the Oberhauser brewery « Red Pony » and a wide range of cocktails.
The program of the Oberhauser Festival: something for the whole family
On Friday, April 25, 2025, the drummer group Sambamania Oberhausen awakens from the afternoon sleep. The festival is officially opened by Mayor Eva Weber at around 5:30 p.m. After that, the first rock band is already on stage: « Escandalos ». At 7 p.m., “Unique Prodigy Records” plays urban sound, from 8:20 p.m. “Skaos” will appear. The children’s program with make -up, chess and balloon art starts on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m. The band « Generation Jukebox » maintains from 4 p.m. and then « One 40 » Rock ‘N’ Roll guitar music plays. In the evening the band « Label Z » with rock from Augsburg is on stage.
On the last day, Sunday, April 27th, the Weißwurst breakfast takes place accompanied by the « tavern musicians » at 11 a.m. The Augsburg band « Tiger Dudes » provides indie folk music around 2 p.m. Then, at 4 p.m., “Who of Us” plays Funk. The cozy end follows from 7 p.m.
