This is how long travelers on the A7, A8 and A9 on Sunday in the traffic jam
The situation on the motorways in Bavaria is tense on Sunday. Many travelers will use the last day of the long weekend of May 1st for the return trip from a short vacation. The consequences of dense traffic are considerable. Several traffic jams in Bavaria extend the travel time by around an hour, reports the ADAC.
Several traffic jams on A7, A8 and A9 after a long weekend of May 1st
On the A7 From Füssen/Reutte to Ulm, the cars between Memmingen-Süd and Dettingen stand still for nine kilometers for nine kilometers. The traffic jam costs travelers around 30 minutes, the ADAC estimates. On the same route between the Altenstadt exit and the Hittistetten triangle, traffic is over twelve kilometers. Drivers have to expect an additional 29 minutes loss of time.
Problem area A8 between Munich and Salzburg costs travelers for an hour
Regularly it builds up on the A8 between Munich and Salzburg. Because of a narrowed road, travelers often take longer for this route. On Sunday, too, drivers have to bring more time between Rosenheim and Bernau am Chiemsee there. There, traffic is currently standing still around six kilometers.
The situation is similar on the opposite lane. On the way from Salzburg to Munich there is a ten -kilometer traffic jam on Sunday afternoon. According to the ADAC, travelers need around 48 minutes longer for the route. On the same highway, traffic also stalls between the Irschenberg exit and the Munich-Süd cross. That costs travelers on their way to the state capital currently about seven minutes.
Smaller traffic jams and dense traffic are also on the A9
Smaller traffic jams and stagnant traffic are also available on the A9. From Munich towards Nuremberg between the Garching-Nord and Allershausen trips, drivers have to expect around five minutes due to dense traffic. Finally, travelers on the same highway between the Pfaffenhofen Ad Ilm and Langenbruck trips cost about seven minutes, the ADAC reports.
