The former Vice -Minister of National Defense, the head of the Defense Hospital Scalewolf Management, commented on the attack and the future of the drones, Edwin Kerza.

– What is the extent that conspiracy should have been?

– In fact, it is an operation of unimaginable complexity, secrecy, which will surely enter not only history but also military textbooks as one of the most carefully prepared and even the closest partners’ operations. There were two interesting concepts – advanced, modern technologies were combined with enough simple means, exploiting enemy territory, telecommunications networks. In other words, the tank with a fork, as I used to joke, only the forks in this case were very smart, well prepared and with explosives.

– Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that Ukrainians are operating in three different time zones in Russian territory, and the operational headquarters was located near one FSB offices. Moreover, everyone participated in the operation successfully withdraw from Russia’s territory. Can you explain how this is the year and a half nobody has been poisoning anything? Is the FSB blind and deaf?

– Not quite the case. Such operations are generally so complex that they sometimes do not have enough or two years – sometimes even five years old. People are prepared and sent to the back of the enemy, legends are being created, they become their own – maybe even colleagues, employees. Although in reality it is a masked soldiers or intelligence workers. Therefore, I am not surprised that long preparation has led to success. The clear signal was already three years ago that the Russians would not overcome the Russians by standard means. Just as their families are accommodated abroad, in various countries around the world and spent decades there, Ukrainians began to do the same.

– And the second time the Ukrainians would do so?

– I have no doubt that an absolutely new page has been opened now. Now all Russian logistics is based on rail. And today, I understand that the railway will become the number one. Convoys, full of armament, and they will look left and right, or do not fly from any truck and do not respond to the convoy. Basically, we changed the understanding of how attacked and where the attacker is. We were hoping that complex missiles would come from the territory of Ukraine, and the long -distance defense would solve this task. But the opposite happened – there were completely short distances.

-What does Russia mean to lose so many strategic bombers and other aircraft as the A-50, which is particularly needed by the Russians in the war against Ukraine?

– This means that new programs will take – as a new generation of strategic bomber. And so $ 50 billion. The dollar program has stagnated, delayed, and so far there is no clear concept of responding to an American B-2 or B-21 alternative. But on the other hand, old Soviet aircraft, which can cost $ 200-300, will need to be rebuilt. This means that the budget so stressed will face an even bigger challenge. In addition, the capacity to threaten, attacking in great distance – because these aircraft felt safe as they could run really modern weapon systems over thousands of kilometers.

– But is that good news for us?

– This is a very good news for us, because it means that it is essentially a really big blow to the capacity that threatens the world – as well as America, because the distance can be 10-12 thousand. kilometers.

– What does this Ukrainian blow mean politically? Maybe it helps even in negotiations?

– This is a very serious trump card in the negotiations. I think it was no coincidence that the date was chosen before this phase. The Russian side felt very solid and thought that the initiative was in their hands. Seeing the reaction of the Western world, they made their demands even more boldly.

– Your fund also funded drone production. How fast is things changing and is a modern war without drones anymore?

– I think this capacity is unequivocally entered into any system of modern weaponry. Whether it’s a tank – it just will have to be equipped with drone systems as well. These are protection for critical infrastructure, intelligence. This means that without them, our forces today will no longer be able to war.
