This investment is a promise kept for the community of this area

In one of the urban spaces that is recognizing extraordinary development in the administrative unit 14, the foundations for the construction of a new school, which will operate with the new kindergarten and new kindergarten, are laid.

The new school is being built on « Muharrem Çaushi » Street and is an investment of the Albanian government in response to the need for the Astir community.

The Prime Minister, Edi Rama, the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu and the acting mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, closely inspected the construction of the new school.

During the inspection, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated:

« We have to walk with a new plan for designing educational facilities for Tirana to associate with expropriations or partnerships when we obtain a building permit to issue territory for the school. While for the kindergartens we must continue to take internal space in the Nursery Buildings. »
This school is being built in accordance with all European Union standards, for a capacity of 900 students, with 30 classes, 8 laboratories, playgrounds, fitness, libraries and green spaces, respecting the needs of students or people with disabilities.

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, said during the inspection that this is a new schools that are added to the developing areas and new neighborhoods of Tirana.

“There will be 900 students mainly in the entire 9-year education cycle, but we will have two preschools and it is very important that all those students or young children who should go to the kindergarten can even capture the preschool cycle and enter directly here.

While in terms of teaching staff already with the reduction of two -shift schools, where we have reduced over 50% of two -shift schools, there are only 25 schools that with the increase in capacity and the construction of new schools, 5 are under construction and expanding capacity, I believe we will eliminate them in the next four years. This is a promise kept and the entire Astir community. It is very pleased with this realization of this investment while we will have the 9-year-old and high school in Kashar, which is close and we also have the ‘Kol Jakova’ school in Unit 11, which has a very good distribution for all.
