« This country is not in crisis »

PSD It will go « with the whole opening » to the discussions on Wednesday, from Cotroceni, with President Nicuşor Dan, said PSD spokesman Florin Manole. According to him, from the perspective of the party, the discussions will be focused « on principles » and only then, if they are consecrated on « some themes », on finding a person to lead the government.

« The PSD will go with all the opening to the discussions at the Cotroceni Palace with President Nicuşor Dan. We are not far from gold, we are a constructive party, which has solutions. We will put these solutions on the table table and then we will see what will be the president’s reaction, the reaction of the other parties and only then can we reach the discussions, » Florin Manole said.

The new spokesman of the PSD said that the party will go to the discussions in Cotroceni with concrete figures in the first weeks, which shows that the Ministry of Finance already « has done » and that « the deficit is below the forecast, which, in turn, was last year.

Regarding the opinions of the mayors Constantin Toma (Buzău) and Daniel Băluţă (Sector 4 Bucharest), according to which the PSD should enter the government, Florin Manole said that « Mr. Toma often exaggerates and uses non -realm to legitimize the topics that are not real. »

« This country is not in crisis and you can also forget the statements of the BNR officials, and the budget execution (…).

He also stated that some colleagues are for the entry into government, others are against, but that the party’s decision is to « go on » first of all « on some principles, with all the opening », because it is an extremely important thing.

« You see that the Liberals are expressed like this, and the UDMR, namely that we have to find consensus and only then, if we manage to find this consensus, talk about a person with first name. The disappearance of the democratic parties in the electoral sense, in this electoral cycle, would make Romania fall prey to the extreme right and this is the largest possible nightmare, ”said Florin Manole.

President Nicușor Dan announced that the discussions with the parliamentary parties will start on Wednesday to form the new government.

« It is the first round of discussions, which is why they are informal.
