Titled « Echo of the Past – Future Future », an introductory text about the exhibition wrote art historian Kiril Penushliski.
– The exhibition « Professors – Students », which is being held for the third time this year in the premises of the Youth Cultural Center in Skopje, is an important art and educational event that presents and reviews the link between mentors and young artists. Joint exposure to works by professors and their students, the ICF Exhibition Gallery creates space for dialogue that intertwines the experience and innovation, tradition and contemporary artistic tendencies, methodology and freedom of expression. And this edition of the exhibition « Professors – Students » unites already recognized artists, as well as new, future talents. Exhibition participants are more than 50 professors and students from eight important higher education institutions in Macedonia. Participants are presented with works made in various art techniques, including painting – oil and acrylic, drawing, sculpture, digital media, fashion and interior design, photography and installation. This unification of various artistic disciplines reflects the rich and varied scene of contemporary Macedonian art. In addition, it is a clear indication of the multidisciplinary character of the contemporary artistic formation in Macedonia, which encourages students to engage in artistic discourse with different traditional and contemporary art forms and media – says Penushliki.
