« They will pay »: opponents of the euro will raise uprising to overthrow power to stay the lion
« They will pay … We have to stand up for them to fall … » Such threats to commit (including political) violence were heard in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (National Palace of Culture) tonight during an event against the admission of the euro and the non -referendum on the issue « The Battle of Lev is the last battle for Bulgaria. » It was organized by the former owner of the PIK agency Nedyalko Nedyalkov, MEP from « Revival » Peter Volgin, former Revival MP Victor Papazov, former BSP MP Strahil Angelov, representing economist Grigor Sariyski and others. There were representatives of Renaissance, greatness and VMRO.
Strahil Angelov
« The fact that the hall is crowded (there were about 3400 people – note), is of great importance for what is going to happen. Today we start, things will happen that will not like those who have declared us war. The constitution will be paid for. Absolutely obligatory, « Strahil Angelov, known for his extreme pro -Russian (and even pro -Soviet) and anti -European positions, threatened with violence, making a reference to the April Uprising.
On behalf of the organizers of the event, he offered the 5 points present in the hall:
- On May 31, they organize a national protest in Sofia and elsewhere in the country, requesting it to be present by people from any settlement, the hour would be further specified. « When you get home from here, create committees, an organization for resistance, if we do not do it now, tomorrow it will be late, » he urged, adding that it was chosen this date because it was close to the release of the convergence reports of the European Commission and the European Central Bank, and in his words the government asked for these reports « without asking me. »
- Sending a letter on behalf of the hall to European and world leaders who « would support us as a people. » He specified that the letter would be to Donald Trump and his Vice President J. D. Vance (according to him on Monday from the US Embassy, they were waiting for them to it – ed.), To Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who calls to use his veto right in the Council of the European Union, because the data of the Bulgarian authorities for the prime minister, to the euro area, to the « fake ».
- Rumen Radev and the Presidency were the only legitimate institution according to Strahil Angelov, which is why they were called to announce the data of the government it filed in Brussels because the inflation was not 2.6% and « we know it all, everything is false. »
- Angelov said he was expecting parliamentary parties, who did not sign the call of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to join forces and at least temporarily to neglect their differences, to make a no -week vote, « I am not interested in the reasons.
- Resignation of the government and another parliamentary elections.
Nedyalko Nedyalkov
For his part, Nedyalko Nedyalkov, who, as the owner of the PIK agency, was among the flagships of the « Media Langer » phenomenon of power, including state bodies such as the prosecution, also hinted at committing political violence with the insistence that « we must stand up to fall. » According to him, the « lies for the euro area » was like « the lie for Ukraine, the Covid-19 pandemic and the F-16 fighter jets, without specifying what it meant.
According to him, parliament chairman Natalia Kiselova had committed a « coup », returning to the president the proposed referendum without being discussed in the National Assembly, and the topic according to Nedyalkov was no longer for the euro area, but for the « coup ».
Radev will refer to the Constitutional Court for his returned request for a referendum on the euro
« The euro area is a moral and sexual perversion. In my Europe, they do not prohibit Russian media, books, if we are now taken away from levs, then we will be taken away by the alphabet and faith. Mass protests from that moment, resignation of the government and holding immediate elections. The knife has been rested. Televisions – BNT, you and Nova, for « manipulators ».
Peter Volgin
MEP Peter Volgin, who has used the national radio of the Kremlin’s « options » for many years, said « there is nothing more powerful than people’s voice, they are afraid that they will get a result other than the one who wants, the citizens are much smarter than those who manage. »
Victor Papazov
According to former MP Victor Papazov, upon joining the euro area, Bulgarians would control their money to « someone else, our money will be managed by some Frankfurt official ». He called « to go out to the Council of Ministers, to the BNB and to take them out of power while we still have a lion. »
« This is freedom and independence – to control alone, in Brussels or Frankfurt there is no one to pay attention to us, » Papazov said, adding that the holiday of the Bulgarian army was a « shame ».
Kostadin Kostadinov
The chairman of « Revival » Kostadin Kostadinov also took the word, according to which « the true National Assembly is now here at the National Palace of Culture ». « We know very well that there are many brave people, if we unite, there is no power to stop us, » Kostadinov noted, praising the plan with the five points represented by Strahil Angelov.
« The date of May 31 is very important, today we have noted a very serious victory, the hall is sprayed at the seams, we have the chance to turn the course of history, on May 31 let us set a goal of 100 thousand in the center of Sofia and hundreds of thousands in the whole of Bulgaria, it is time for the revival of the Bulgarian spirit, it is time to return the freedom and the state. »
Video with Steve Hanke
A video was shown with « The Father of the Currency Board » Steve Hanke, from which only the translation was heard and it could not be said if it was authentic. It claims to say that there should be a direct democracy and a referendum for the euro should be held on the Swiss model. Hanke has long been an opponent of the euro area and advises Bulgaria to stay with the currency board.
