They recorded an earthquake in Asia. The skyscraper disappeared in just a few seconds

According to the United States Geological Survey research agency, the earthquake took place at a small depth, only 10 km below the surface of the earth. Still, it caused huge damage.

The epicenter of shocks was in Central Mjanm (former Burma), about 50 km east of the city of Monywa, and the quake took place around 14:20 local time.

In both Thailand and in Mjanm, authorities and humanitarian organizations are in a state of readiness.

In Bangkok, terrified residents ran out of skyscrapers. The shocks were so strong that the buildings swayed until the pools on the roofs poured water.

There are no reports of any victims at the moment.

Earthquakes are not new in this part of the world. In central Mjanma – between 1930 and 1956, there were six strong earthquakes.

A powerful earthquake with a strength of 6.8 magnitude in the ancient capital of Bagan in the central part of Myanmar killed three people in 2016, and also destroyed the walls of historical temples.
