KVP gets a new center.
Košice. Since 2020, in the KVP housing estate, they have been able to make the central and only fountain of the city district more attractive. It is situated above the shopping center on Bauerova and Zombova Street. It passed under the city district in 1995, but was long -term inoperative.
It has a large reconstruction for 3.7 million euros on an area of more than 10,000 square meters. In addition to the revitalization of the fountain, a functional square will be created.
The mayor of the city district Ladislav Lörinc (Košice Party) informed on Monday that he signed a contract with the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Computerization. « This investment is the largest in the history of our city district. »
Different obstacles
The project was approved by the Košice Cooperative Council last August. According to the town hall, it is not only a reconstruction.
