There is a two -day action in Lučenec.
Lučenec. Lectures on waste of food, light pollution or recycling, creating various objects from garbage or tasting of ecological products. This is also the program of the two -day environmental festival of the Everbug (24 and 25 4.) in Lučenec.
The event is the result of the activity of local enthusiasts from the civic association revived. The tradition began in 2019, when the festival took place in the Golden Lane in Lučenec.
Although the event was successful, they had to wait six years for the second year.
« After the first year we wanted to continue, but it made it impossible for us to do it. Now the time has come, so we decided to revive the tradition with the intention to organize the festival in the same place every year, » said Olesia Hroncová, chairwoman of the civic association revived.
About light soiling and waste of food
The organizers want to draw people’s attention to the current problems and importance of the ecological way of life and sustainable development.
This is to be helped by a varied compound program focused on children, youth and adults. The lecturers approach the topics of waste of food, light pollution, ecological buildings and housing or healing gifts of nature.
« We have experts from various areas here. For example, Karol Havril from the Rimavskosobotská observatory AO water or Sysla will tell Želmíra Ružičková and Eva Belan from the Protected Landscape Area Cerovina, » said Svetlana Matušková, Vice -President OZ Zivaná.
« One of the main lectures will be dealt with by Czechs and the issue of flooding this area in connection with the planned construction of a water -pumping station, » she added.
There are also lectures on the topic of recycling our old ones I have or manual processing of flax and the return of wool processing. The Festival of Earthlian will also revive the musical performance of Petr Juhás and Marcel Millarik.

Tourist Novohrad and Podpoľanie, the town of Lučenec and the local shopping center Galéria, which provided the premises, gave a helping hand in organizing. The festival has found a place on each of the three floors, the people at first glance will be attracted by the globe Maket.

Regional manufacturers offer products made of natural materials, vegetable oils, jams, teas, spreads or spices.
« Environmentalistics and tourism are very closely related and one of our goals is that hiking trails, cycling and other attractions are maintained and clean. Our region has a huge natural wealth and if we devastate it, the tourist offer will be significantly reduced, » said Tomáš Krahulec, OOCR Tourism Director.
« We do not have to go far for environmentally produced products. By supporting the regional market, we will develop the ecological as well as the economic topic of the sustainability of local products, » he added.
Made up of waste
Creative people will also find their place, who in a often called junkyard teaching how to breathe new life. « Waste can be made, for example, tambourine or rattle. We show people that not everything has to end up in a garbage bin, » said Maria Kumštárová.
She added that they also talk to children and youth about the topic of waste in nature.
« I brought a glass bottle found in the forest. It is full of the remains of small animals that enter the bottom but cannot find the east and practically cook in it. One ordinary bottle will become a cemetery for dozens of animals.
