The investigation lasted only a day when a report was suspected that an orphaned young man, Imre Balentics, was the killer. Balentics came from a well -off family, but he was alive and was dismissed from his job. The police found the man in a restaurant. In a search of his apartment, he attracted a chips and a bloody razor.

Bloody evidence

The man’s defender, citing mental illness, tried to save Imre Balentics from the death sentence, but this was not confirmed and the man was sentenced to death by a rope. The lawyer appealed, but they could not hold another negotiation because Balentics died because of a tuberculosis.
