– 11 Polish flags belonging to the Museum of World War II were broken. Some of them were burned. The perpetrator also damaged the elements of the masts: reel links and mechanisms. Financial losses are estimated at around 10-15 thousand. PLN – said Trawińska.
M2WŚ informed that in this case it had notified the police about the crime and declared full cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
– We will also provide all the evidence we have, which can help determine the identity of the perpetrator and explain the circumstances of this incident – the representative of the M2WŚ said in the sent statement.
The perpetrators are looking for a tracking dog
According to Magdalena Ciska, a spokeswoman for the police in Gdańsk, the police received the notification on Thursday at 13.
– Officers on site, among others They determined that the unknown perpetrator broke and destroyed the flags of the Republic of Poland and the European Union. Policemen from the investigation group, a forensic technician and a policeman with a tracking dog work on site-said Ciska.
The officers inspect, interrogate witnesses and secure and analyze monitoring cameras.
