What happened in the plant?
The incident occurred on Friday, May 16, several minutes after 13.00. In one of the plants dealing with cleaning vehicles for transporting dangerous goods in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, two employees had contact with a dangerous substance. As a result of this event, both men were burned.
The injured are two employees of the plant aged 40 and 30. At the time of the accident, they performed their duties related to the cleaning of the vehicle. After the incident, both were transported to the hospital, where they were provided with medical assistance.
The investigation group under the supervision of the prosecutor worked at the scene. An accident was inspected. An inspector of the National Labor Inspectorate and officers of the State Fire Service also participated in the activities. The investigation in the case continues and the circumstances of the incident are clarified.
