Thessaloniki: Fire in Pentalofos – In the Extinguishing Battle and Helicopter

A low vegetation fire in Pentalofos, in the Municipality of Oreokastro, in Thessaloniki, broke out at noon on Saturday, June 14th.

The fire broke out in unspecified conditions so far around 14:10, and according to the Fire Department, it does not threaten residential areas.

To extinguish the fire, 35 firefighters were mobilized, with a 2nd EME hikers, ten firefighting vehicles and a helicopter.
