THESSALONIKI: 49 Molotov cocktails were located at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Early hours today Monday, May 26, 2025, an employee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki found, in a basement of the Polytechnic School, three bags containing a total of forty-nine (49) intact improvisation (49) improvised incendiary constructions.
Police officers who went to the spot found that some of them had been brought in with customized fireworks and vials.

A research was followed by the space in which they were identified, thoroughly hidden in a specially designed space, materials that make up improvised incendiary – explosive constructions.

Overall seized:
- 49 intact improvised incendiary – explosive constructions
- 2 buns
- Jacket with flammable liquid
- Disposable medical mask
- 3 pairs of gloves, where appropriate, work and disposable
- 5 sponges
- 3 glass bottles blank contents
- 4 plastic bottles that labeled « gasoline » and
- Numerous pieces of fabric (retalies).
A competent crew of the Northern Greece Criminal Investigations Division was called and went to photograph and exploration the site.
The case is investigated by police officers from the Department of Racist and Extremist Violence of the Thessaloniki Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Division.
