Small amounts and big savings
If you have been on a work trip with overnight stay, you can get a fixed deduction of DKK 143.50 per night. 24 hours to small necessities.
Receipts are not needed, the amount is standardized.
The service deduction has been raised and from 2025 can amount to up to DKK 17,500.
It can be used for, for example, cleaning, window cleaning and from this year also for repair of home appliances, installation of theft alarm and certain garden services.
The amount is entered in box 461, where you also have to provide CVR number and payment dates.
If you have donated for approved charity, you will automatically receive a deduction if you have provided your CPR number at the transfer.
The maximum deductible amount is in 2025 of DKK 19,000, and this is shown in section 55.
If you shop with securities on foreign platforms or own unlisted shares, you must report returns in boxes 65 and 67.
On the other hand, investments via Danish banks are typically reported automatically.
Owners of housing abroad must remember to inform the housing and pay property value tax in Denmark with the possibility of impact if tax has also been paid abroad.
Interest expenses can also be deducted.
If you owe tax, interest rates will run from January 1st.
If you pay within July 1, the interest rate is 5.3 per cent. If you pay for a fixed rate of 7.3 per cent.
If you have money for good, you will receive a tax -free interest rate allowance of 0.6 per cent.
