The big favorite – alongside Austria – has to prove itself in the first semi -finals. Participant first ESC semi-final 2025 on May 13th at 9 p.m.

A total of 37 nations take part in the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Ten finalists are determined from the two semi -finals. Austria’s candidate JJ, one of the favorites, is there on Thursday. The semi -finals do not have to do six countries: Big Five, i.e. the largest payers, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy and Spain. There is also host Switzerland, which is also fixed for May 17th. The decision is made in the semi -finals only the audience, the specialist juries only have a say in the final.
