Therefore, woman sent Easter eggs to ex -boyfriend’s new family
A woman has been arrested after sending poisoned Easter eggs to her ex -boyfriend’s new family as part of what police call a revenge plot.
According to Peoplethen the 35-year-old Jordélia Pereira Barbosa had been driven by her anger as she sent the chocolate eggs to her ex-boyfriend’s new partner, Mirian Lira, and her children.
Shortly after eating the eggs, Lira’s seven -year -old son, Luis Silva, became seriously ill and was rushed to Imperatriz City Hospital, where he was unfortunately declared dead on April 17. In addition, Mirian Lira and her 13-year-old daughter Evelyn Fernanda are in critical condition.
Police have since been out to confirm that this is actually not at all the first time that Jordélia Pereira Barbosa had tried to get her revenge on Lira, but that this plan had failed.
Surveillance images from a local supermarket show Barbosa wearing a black wig while buying the Easter eggs. Police later discovered receipts that tie her the purchase of the chocolate. In addition, several mysterious objects such as wigs, scissors and the same substances were found that she suspects she has used to poison the eggs.
Barbosa admitted to having bought the chocolate but refused to have poisoned it. However, the investigative indications and the evidence found strongly point to her as the perpetrator.
Police are still working on the case and are hoping to provide further evidence that can unequivocally associate Barbosa with the crime:
« There are several indications that clearly point out that this woman is the perpetrator of the crime. »
« The police will continue the work of strengthening this evidence and presenting her to the judiciary to be responsible for this barbaric crime. »
