There was 10% fewer people in schools strike, do not sit on the manipulations and dine of unions

The Ministry addressed the public after a circular strike in education organized by three educational unions. As with the first strike on March 19, data on participation in strike are significantly different.
Fuchs also said that « it is on conscience to declare himself whether or not he will strike. »
– We don’t scare, we don’t put pressure. We just analyze the data exactly and exactly and these are verifiable strike results – the strike is slightly smaller, in percentages by about 10% than in the same counties in the first strike – he added.

According to the COP, in 313 institutions with 18,387 employees in four Dalmatian counties, 4723 employees were strikes, not more than 6000, according to the unions – he said.
– The response was about 25.9 percent, so it was still slightly smaller, about 10 percent. Fall in all counties 15 percent, especially among non -staff. For example, 35.009 percent participated in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County in the first strike, and yesterday 32.19%. Among the teaching staff, out of 4723 employees, 31.37 percent were strike. Out of 650 employees in unnatural professions, less than 12 percent were strike – Mamic presented.
In the Šibenik-Knin County, there were 17.5% of employees in Zadar County, 3.2% of employees. High school employees participated in the strike. There were no classes in 12 percent of schools at all, 8.75 percent of them worked regularly, and 61 percent partially.
– What we want to emphasize that it is clear: we do not know what methodology unions collect data, probably polls, but this is the COP data entered by the principals themselves. It should be said that the response of Dalmatian counties in the first strike was above average large – said the Secretary of State.
Among the colleges, the University of Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik, and the Polytechnic, the Ministry has information that 3101 employees responded to 3.68 percent, 314 employees.

Mamic stated Why the union arguments for strike are not standing.
– They say: We do not dispute that in some systems salaries have grown from 50 to 70 percent, but inflation has eaten everything. But the cumulative inflation was 28% and it is not true that it ate raise. The fact is that there are products whose prices have grown more than this percentage, but these are not products that we spend our entire income on. When the sectors who are not unprofitable are added, I am sorry that there are people who are dissatisfied with everything we have done – he said, explaining that the coefficients were even more growing up to educators than others in the public sector, because many of them were embedded in the coefficient.
As for the rebellion due to modular teaching in vocational schools, Fuchs said it was a reform « that provides a lot of things, that a whole new concept for students, better working conditions for teachers. »
– We do not find something in their elements that requires some drastic change in the direction of reform processes that we have been preparing for many years, – he concluded.
