There is no indication that Russia wants peace / day

According to LETA, Signe Znotiņa-Znota, Adviser to the Minister, met with Laura Skrodel, the head of the Foundation « Businessmen for Mieram », Ulv Novika, the head of the association « Your Friends » and the chaplain Elmar Plavinas, a chaplain in international military religious cooperation. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation and project coordination so far, including between ministries and interest representation organizations, current Ukrainian reconstruction projects and long -term plans for Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Bruce emphasized that the Russian massive missile and battle drone attack on the Ukrainian civilians on the night of April 24 is another proof that the goals of the « Kremlin butcher » have not changed – there is no indication that Russia wants peace. The Foreign Minister emphasized that Russia could only be forced.

She pointed out that all kinds of support for Ukraine should be continued – military, financial, political and humanitarian. In the Minister’s opinion, the legal solutions should be sought to divert all funds to Ukraine’s support and reconstruction of all funds of the Russian Central Bank. She is convinced that no one else, only Russia, has to pay for the Ukrainian people and the country.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the « Businessmen for Mieram » and the work done by the Society « Your Friends » in the reconstruction of Ukraine and their commitment to continue what they had begun. Braže said that the work done and the experience of both organizations is unique, given that the reconstruction takes place during the war, under specific circumstances.

Braže pointed out that during the meeting, the parties discussed specific proposals for further cooperation, including to promote the involvement of Latvian entrepreneurs in the Ukrainian reconstruction projects.
