There is currently no pension and benefits for public spending to be touched / day -to -day
During June, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) must prepare proposals to reduce national spending by at least € 150 million to find funding for defense, education and demographics.
According to Silina, the MoF is currently conducting active discussions with ministries to find savings. However, money is planned to be searched in administrative resources, not, for example, in pensions or benefits. More about how individual bodies can be consolidated and centralized. It may also apply to state -owned companies by reducing the number of board and council members.
The prime minister, however, emphasized the need to wait for the results of the negotiations led by the FM in order to judge some further steps. « We believe that (pensions and benefits) would not be touched, » Silina said.
It has already been reported that proposals to reduce public spending will be welcome from the MoF in June. After that, you will have to work to reduce public spending even more, Silina said earlier.
The Prime Minister explained that important decisions should be made during June to move forward with the priorities set by the government.
She stressed that an effective way to realize the ideas set and to increase defense funding is to use European tools.
