There are several years ahead of us with extremely high temperatures – the world’s largest meteorological services warned

We need to prepare for a few years a big heat with record temperatures that are pushing the country to even more deadly, unpleasant extremes, the world’s largest meteorological agencies warned today in the five -year forecast.

There is an 80 percent chance of the world to break another annual temperature record in the next five years, and the world is even more likely to break down the 1.5 degrees that was set a decade ago like the one that must be avoided – according to the forecast of the World Meteorological Organization and the British Meteorological Service.

For the first time, there is a chance – though small – before the end of this decade, global temperature to break the heating limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius set by the Paris climate agreement and reach a much more dangerous level of 2 degrees Celsius – the two agencies reported.

That warming level is determined by the temperature of the mid -19th century.

There is an 86 percent likelihood that one of the next five years will break the heating level of 1.5 degrees, as well as 70 percent likely that the next five years will be warmer from that level on average – the forecast added.

The forecast was attended by 200 people who used computer simulations in 10 global scientific centers.
