“As a result of intense searches throughout the territory of Shkodra district, following the police operation codenamed“ Coordinate ”, based on police intelligence, the services of the Shkodra Police Directorate and its subordinate commissariats have found and destroyed 1408 suspected narcotics plants:
-The services of the Velipoja Police Station found in the village of Gomsiqe, 130 suspected narcotic plants Cannabis Sativa. Gj., 34, resident in the village of Gomsiqe, who allegedly cultivated these plants, which were destroyed by burning.
-The services of the Vau i Dejes Police Commissariat found in the territory of the Temal Administrative Unit, and destroyed 1278 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants, ”reads the police statement.
Meanwhile, work is underway to identify, capture and bring the perpetrators of cultivation of these narcotic plants to the criminal responsibility.
It is also reported that the anti -anabis operation codenamed « Coordinate » is still ongoing.
