Regarding the demands of the opposition SDSM to set up an Inquiry Committee on the Tregalia in Kocani, and foreigners to include DUI in the investigation, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said yesterday that « they do not run away from any Inquiry Committee., But they would like to expand it for other cases except for Kocani.
-I absolutely do not run away from any Inquiry Committee, I suppose the VMRO -DPMNE parliamentary group and the coalition will not run away, but we would like to expand it with all these other court cases that ended in the way they ended up. So, we are ready to talk, to debate anyone who can help or add value – said Prime Minister Hrstijan Mickoski in response to a journalist question after a visit to Novo Selo.
According to the prime minister, SDSM and DUI were not satisfied with the investigation into Kocani, but as he said they would ask them if they were satisfied with the investigation into the Tetovo modular hospital, whether they were satisfied with the Laskarci investigation, whether they were satisfied with the Besa Trans investigation, the Soravia Mall and the Soravia Mall.
SDSM MP Jovanka Trenchevska said today at a press conference in Parliament that they would support a proposal for such an inquiry commission, and that « they leave a chance for the institutions for a professional and non-selective investigation into the tragedy in Kocani, then we will come up with our future actions ».
-We have a chance of the institutions. The investigation is ongoing and that is why our view is that it needs to be professionally completed. Let’s not obstruct during the investigation. Upon completion of the investigation as SDSM we will come up with our future actions. The moment the investigation is completed depending on the results of the investigation. All the time, at the press conferences by the leadership and the MPs we leave a chance to see a non-selective and professional investigation and on the basis of the investigation we will build the future views of SDSM-Trenchevska said, answering the question of whether SDSM would support the idea of the DUI to establish a parliamentary commission.
DUI today again demanded an independent « pulse » investigation out of the hands of those who, they say, have allowed the tragedy.
– It is clear that the government does not need justice, but an alibi. It must not be silent and therefore we publicly demand: urgent suspension of the entire command structure in the MoI and the Public Security Bureau, who knew about pulse problems and did not respond; An independent investigation, outside the hands of those who have enabled the tragedy, in order to determine the protection of the Pulse facility to work and open a new process against all those who are actively working to conceal the truth and create monstrous cases as an alibi for the real culprits – said Arta Bilali Zendeli.
