Theft of the Dacian treasure. Another suspect arrested
The Dutch police arrested a fifth suspect in the investigation into the theft of art objects at the Drents Museum in Assen, according to the police.nl.
The 36-year-old man was arrested in a home in his hometown, Alkmaar, the police in the Netherlands announced
The stolen gold artefacts have not yet been found.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday morning and led to a police station.
This fifth suspect who was arrested is not the person who appears in the images captured in a DIY store in Assen, but has arrived in the police viewer during the investigation.
He is to be interrogated about his possible involvement in the art of art.
After the arrest, the police searched a home in Alkmaar. Digital data media have been seized. In this regard, additional investigations will be carried out.
The investigation into the theft of art objects is in full swing, the priority and the main objective being to find stolen artifacts, according to the police.
Previously, this investigation led to the arrest of four suspects. Three of them are still under arrest.
