On Sunday, Britain has appointed Blaise Metreweli led to the secret intelligence service, known as Mi6, so Metreweli became the first woman at the helm of that spy agency, decades after Judi Dench first starred the head of MI6 in the James Bond movie. Metreweli, 47, is currently the head of the MI6 technology, known as « Q », and joined the Secret Intelligence Service in 1999 and spent most of her career in operating positions in the Middle East and in Europe, the British government said.

Richard Moore, the current head of the MI6, will deviate from his duties in the fall after a five -year term.
