The winners of the Bucharest (Video) Semimarathon
The Romanian athletes Dragoș Pop and Diana Popa won the semi-marathon test at the Bucharest International Half Marathon & 10k by Constantina Diță event, held on Sunday, in the Capital, with the start on Constantin Prezan Boulevard, according to the website of the competition.
Dragoș Pop (CSM Cluj-Napoca) imposed with the time of 1 h 04 min 04 sec, followed by Nicolae Soare (CSM Bacău), 1 h 04 min 21 sec, the podium being completed by Kenyan Hillary Kiptum Maiyo Kimaiyo, in 1 h 07 min 04 sec.
Diana Popa (SCM Gloria Buzău) won the female with a time of 1 h 12 min 33 sec, followed by the athletes Kenyene Jacinta Kavindu Paul, 1 h 13 min 08 sec, and Nancy Waigumo Githaiga, 1 h 13 min 24 sec.
Andrei Jitaru (Aac Team) came out the winner at 10 km, in 34 min 19 sec, followed by Dmitry Shevchenko, 34 min 25 sec, and by Ioan-Vlad Baltariu, 35 mn 17 sec.
In the 10 km female race, the first place was occupied by Mihaela Maria Blaga, in 35 min 37 sec, followed by Mihaela Botnari (R. Moldova), 35 min 43 sec, and Iulia-Floria Mărginean, 37 min 12 sec.
The winners at Semimaraton were rewarded with 800 euros, athletes ranked second with 600 euros, and the occupants of the third position, with 400 euros. At 10 km, the occupants of the podium received 300, 200, respectively 100 euros, in descending order.
