Famous Croatian jazz musician and composer Matija Dedic died in Zagreb at 52 years in Zagreb. Many plans and desires have remained unrealized, a creative, star trail has been broken on which Matthias walked.
His colleagues from all over the region, with disbelief, are forgiven by him, emphasizing his gift, the moments of cooperation and the unforgettable concerts, as well as his values as a man and a friend.
Matthias was born on March 2, 1973 in Zagreb, in a well -known family of musicians and singers, his parents are the legendary Arsen Dedic and Gabi Novak. Probably because of the hereditary talent, but also the music that has repeatedly surrounded him as a five -year -old boy started playing piano.
After the 1991 Music School, he went to Graz, Austria, where 1997 graduated from the Harald Huvart Art Academy. Soon he became known on the Croatian music scene, and during his successful and fruitful career he performed in almost all European centers and in the United States, with large muisel names. He writes music for television and film, and he also performs with famous Croatian and regional musicians.
He has been in numerous awards, and the Croatian Society of Composers has been named the best jazz composer. Multiple winner is also the « Statin » and « Porin » awards for best jazz albums, compositions and instrumental performance.
According to manager Boban Milosevski in Skopje in November, along with Zoran Predin in the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra was to hold a concert, titled « For Arsen », which was originally due to be held this spring, but was delayed due to the tragedy in Kocani. MT
