Although even more than five years after the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic is still not a clear origin of the virus causing Covid 19, the White House has set up a new Covid.Gov website supporting the theory of its leak from the laboratory in the Chinese city of Wu Chan. The page that resembles a poster to the Hollywood film is in capital letters listed in the words « Lab Leak », « leakage from the laboratory ». Between the two words walks determinedly looking US President Donald Trump. Under the inscription is the sentence « the real origin of Covid-9 ».
The following is five points to prove that the virus has escaped from the laboratory. One states that it has a « biological feature that is not in nature ». According to other researchers from the Virological Institute in Wu Chan, they had symptoms similar to Covid in autumn 2019, a few months before they appeared in the normal population. « If there were evidence of the natural origin (virus), according to almost all scientific criteria they would have already been found. But it did not happen, » the website said.
The site also blames the media, politicians, medical authorities and renowned American immunologist Anthony Fauci, who helped to coordinate the reaction of Trump’s predecessor’s administration Joea Biden to the pandemic, from the spread of theory about the natural origin of the virus. It also criticizes the most important measures against the spread of the virus, such as adherence to the distance or wearing of respirators.
