The Vatican gave the official cause of the death of Pope Francis. Two factors
Vatican sources confirm that the Pope woke up at six in the morning on Easter Monday. He behaved calmly. He felt good. Disturbing symptoms appeared around 7 am. Half an hour later, exactly at 7:35 am, the Pope’s death was found. Now the Vatican confirmed that the reasons for Francis’ death were: stroke and serious cardiovascular collapse caused.
The reasons were given in the official medical communication of the Vatican Health Service, Professor Andrea Arcangeli. In his opinion, the stroke led to a coma. An irreversible cardiological collapse was the main cause of death.
The Pope was sick for a long time
The pope’s body was already very weakened by a chronic respiratory infection, which caused him to be hospitalized in gemella polyclinic. In connection with this disease, he underwent three serious crises threatening his life. The Italian daily « Corriere della Sierra » reminds that the Pope did not return to full fitness after this disease.
All the time his breath was supported by artificial ventilation and oxygen. However, the Pope repeated that he would not spend this period without his obligations. And so it was: just one day before his death on Sunday he met with the Vice President of the United States JD Vance.
Message of the pope to the faithful
According to the daily « Corriere della Sierra » on Sunday some observers noticed the progressive stiffening of the Pope, compared to previous days. Especially his shoulder was to be less movable. There are those who saw a person who massaged him behind the pope – writes the daily. Someone noticed even a heavier breath. The Pope, however, had more important things on his head on that day than not the best health. There were holidays. They were faithful. There were people who waited for his words. And these words fell.
