The US evacuates an embassy in Iraq because of Iranian threats

The United States is preparing to evacuate their embassy in Iraq for increased safety risks in the region, three US and two Iraqi sources said on Wednesday, while an American official said that military families could also put Bahrain.

The sources did not say which security risks encouraged the decision to evacuate, and the State Department did not immediately respond to the commentary request.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to attack Iran if the nuclear program negotiations were failed, and on Wednesday he said he was less convinced that Tehran would agree to stop enriching the Uranium, which is a key American request.

Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzada said Iran would shoot US bases if nuclear negotiations were failed, which could lead to the war.

The Iraqi State News Agency quoted a source from the Iraqi government who said Baghdad had not recorded any security indications that would require evacuation.

The US military families in Bahrain will be temporarily withdrawn due to increased regional tensions, the US official told Reuters.

Another US official said there was no change in Al Udeid Air Base Operations in Qatar, the largest military base in the Middle East and that no evacuation command for employees or families associated with the US Embassy in Qatar, which works as usual, was not issued.

The US Embassy in Kuwait stated that it remained completely surgery.
