BRATISLAVA. The United States has successfully tested a hypersonic rocket with a marine platform.

As reported by the press service PentagonFor this purpose, the starting method was used for the first time.

The test was carried out on a space missile base at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

« The use of cold gas allows the navy to eject the rocket from the platform and reach a safe distance above the ship before the first stage, » said Viceadmiral Johnny Wolfe, director of the US Navy Strategic Systems Programs.

He added that this technical success is approaching the US Navy to possess safe and reliable hypersonic abilities.
