The uncomfortable judges, in the trash

Pressure on American justice. The US General Prosecutor, Pam Bondi, said on Thursday that many of the judges who have recently decided against the actions of US President Donald Trump are unable to be impartial and need to be removed, Reuters reports.

« Many judges need to be removed. These judges cannot be impartial, they cannot be objective, » Bondi said in an interview with the show ‘The Fox News.

The comments came in the context of a conflict that is amplified between the White House and the Federal Justice, a branch of the government created to verify how the executive and legislative power are exercised. Federal judges are called for life according to the Constitution to ensure their independence.

« There are district judges who try to control our whole country, the whole country, and try to obstruct Donald Trump’s agenda, » she said.

She called three district judges who temporarily blocked the Trump administration policies, including Ana Reyes, James Boasberg and Beryl Howell.

Donald Trump has previously demanded the dismissal of Boasberg -who temporarily stopped his administration to invoke powers that can be assumed in times of war to deport migrants -causing a rare reprimand from the Supreme Court, John Roberts.

« For over two centuries, it has been established that dismissal is not an adequate response to a disagreement regarding a judicial decision, » said Roberts.

The US Constitution provides as reasons for dismissing betrayal, bribery or other crimes and crimes. In order to dismiss a judge, the Chamber of Representatives must adopt the article invoked with a simple majority, while the Senate must validate the decision by a two -thirds.
