The two westers
Today there are two wests. This is what Jd Vance came to say, serenely but firmly, in his famous Munich speech. A West who understands to resume the roots of his millennial civilization, with his headquarters in Washington that he, Vance, represented there. And, opposed to him, with his headquarters in Brussels, a West who will have betrayed those roots.
Vance is, from the entire Trump team, by far the best prepared. Visibly this one put, in the hands of that, the most delicate and important dossier, that of US relations with Europe or, better, with European countries. Hence the Munich speech. A speech that put conditions so that there could be continuity in the old covenant. And I speak purposely in European countries and not in Europe because, whether Trump or Vance, they make a point not to recognize the figure of Mrs. Von de Leyen and her commission that she tries today and is getting, reducing European countries to the condition of colonies. None of them, Vance or Trump, went to Brussels or invited Brussels to the White House. They will tell me that it is dividing to reign. No, it’s not. It is to ensure the freedom to choose your interlocutors. It is no coincidence that Giorgia Meloni was a few days ago in the White House, or that Vance was in Rome. He was clearly chosen as an interlocutor by Washington to mediate between European and US countries. And why Meloni? Because he is an intelligent conservative, with European prestige who is changing Italy, removing it from the Woke universe, the proverbial political instability and economic decay. Because Italy, with Meloni, like Hungary, with Orbán, is an integral part of the West that Trump and Vance want to rescue.
It is obvious to the contempt of Trump and Vance not by Europe of nations, but by Europe of Brussels that is liquidated everything that essential exists, or existed, in old Europe and that enhanced the heritage of the whole of European nations: its logical, axiological, scientific, cultural and political structure. But above all, respect for three basic values: the life, freedom and sovereign will of the condensed people in ‘We, The People’. The scale of values by which Brussels measure everything is in the antipodes of the traditional Greco-Roman and Christian scale of European values. When Brussels loudly proclaims ‘European values’ we must read ‘the values that structure the Woke Universe’ that Brussels to all want us. When Brussels tells us of the « rule of law » we should look at France of Marine Le Pen, or Romania of the annulled elections because they were won by the candidate who does not please Brussels. In Maniken Pis’s homeland vocabulary, everything means its opposite. 1984 must be the headboard of von der Leyen and his informal state of the larger state: MetSola, Kallas, Lagarde, Bosnjak (President of Tedh) and, news in the panel, Maria Luís Albuquerque. UNOPLAIN OF TREATED, NGO billion without any scrutiny, withdrawal to savings that remain the European middle class, digital eur, orders to prime ministers of Member States, networking censorship, all allow themselves and all the obedient prime ministers of the council, to whom it would compete everything to lead.
Returning to the beginning: we have two westers. What do we want to belong to? It is the great option of the 18th. The most relevant, because it all else takes place.
