The tragic accident on the Ventspils highway has died in the hospital.

Ansis Zanders, the head of the North Kurzeme district of the Kurzeme Region State Police, informed that the police received a message from a medical institution about the death of the driver. Zander explained that the police could therefore be able to take further action. The driver had no status in the criminal proceedings initiated in the criminal proceedings, as he was in a coma for a long time and could not be questioned.

For the time being, however, the investigation is ongoing, with various expertise in the case, including injuries and injuries to all victims. The other seriously injured girl is still in treatment.
