The tragedy at a busy intersection revealed more than expected but the pre -trial investigation was terminated

Help was late for a few minutes

Basanavičius avenue, revised data at 8:26 p.m. The said inadequately acting person was crossed by a car. The above -mentioned police crew appeared to many of the tragedy, not yet understood as what happened here.

Her witnesses, standing at the pedestrian crossing, said that after the DM lay down in the middle of the intersection and closed in the jacket, everything happened in a few tens of seconds.

The driver of the Audi car, who was driving in the direction of the so -called blind intersection at the time, told law enforcement that he had noticed a dark spot at the intersection and supported it with a garbage bag. It was then blinded by the cars coming in front. Oh, when it finally saw the human face at that place, it was too late.

Biographies are different

Law enforcers were not in a hurry to express an Audi driver whose biography was clean: neither convictions nor suspicions of any other crimes, nor malignant road traffic offenses, suspicion of a crime caused by a pre -trial investigation. He was questioned as a special witness, ie a person who may have testimony about the crime he had committed himself.

Although it is hoped that the circumstances of the tragedy will help the records of video cameras at this intersection, it turned out that its own tragedy did not record. Only car flows towards it. In this way, it was found that an Audi driver, approaching the intersection at the same speed, had not even stopped it, which might have helped him to better see the front obstacle, because before he entered the intersection, a green traffic light was on the intersection.

In making a decision in this pre -trial investigation, law enforcement relied on the Road Traffic Rules, which argue that the road obstacles, if the driver may notice it, must slow down, stop or overpower, but without endangering other road users. The duties of the Road Traffic Code, which must be complied with and pedestrians, are established, as the driveway is for vehicles.

The pre -trial investigation was terminated after finding that the driver’s actions did not contain the composition of the crime – the tragedy was driven by great negligence of the victim.

The deceased’s mother did not hide that the son had talked about suicide. It was also found out that he was diagnosed with behavioral disorder with psychosis due to alcohol consumption. The witnesses of his inadequate behavior on Partisan Street also said that he told him not to interfere with killing in an attempt to rescue him.

In addition, it turned out that the week before the tragedy, DM was beaten and robbed. However, his own criminal dossy, as already written, includes about 30 pages. And it contains convictions not only in Lithuania, but also in the United Kingdom. Some moments of this dossy are quite eloquent. At the age of nineteen, the DM was seriously injured by a person during the accident, but the case ended in reconciliation. And one of his last convictions is the driving of a car at a drunkenness of 1.5 ounces. He was convicted a couple of years ago for unlawful possession of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without purpose.
