Both children were handed over to the father's care and the administrative violation process has been initiated against the woman, under the influence of alcohol, which can limit the ability to ensure the safety and protection of the child from the potential threats to the child's life and health.
In accordance with the Law on the Protection of the Rights of the Child, a warning or fine of up to 210 euros shall apply for such an administrative violation. Materials will be sent to the Ventspils Regional Council Administrative Commission for a decision on the amount of the penalty.
