The threat of the family and the headquarters of our candidate intolerable! John John is promoting violence

The political leader of the SP in Lezha district, Ulsi Manja reacted to the incident yesterday in Dajç, where the DP members’ cars followed the vehicle of SP candidate Klotilda Ndreca, and the head of the party branch, threatening them with weapons.

The heavy incident that took place yesterday evening in Dajç, Lezha, where father, sister and all the electoral headquarters of our candidate for deputies were threatened with weapons. Klotilda Ndreca, is an intolerable act that goes beyond any limit of political conflict. Candidate Gjin Gjoni must take on political and legal responsibility for the violent climate he is promoting in Lezha, Kurbin and Mirdita. If he wants to appear as brave, let him stay to the end of this strategy of intimidation and not make the « brave friend », manipulating the event for fear of retribution, but to come to his bravery and not to hide behind his finger.

The event has film and audio evidence that clearly proves threats and violence and is available to the investigation. The time when Gjini built the scene with the « hammer » of old justice has ended with justice reform. We raised the justice reform of justice and the SPAK in cases like this one that no one will be hidden afterwards, but to be equal before the law. This case is already in the hands of the new justice and no attempt will be tolerated to drag or deform it.

Gjin John and anyone else who thinks he will be fully responsible for escalating the tense climate and for disrupting the political atmosphere in the district of Lezha. Today I have officially informed the mission of long -term OSCE/ODIHR observers in Dajç and, as a political leader of the SP for Lezha district, I have guaranteed my personal and party commitment to a honest and quiet electoral process. For us Socialists, what is happening these last days with the local DP and the center is an old film we’ve seen in 10 campaigns. We know the end not only us, but every Albanian. And so will May 11th, remember:

• In the closing meetings they will announce the victory and sing the hymn,
• In the morning the ears will begin to hang,
• At lunch will drag the count with banal justifications,
• At dinner they will say, « We were stolen again! »

With the same director there can be no other film! On May 11, we will beat for ten PD+ASHM & CO for the time!
I invite all SP supporters not to fall prey to deliberate provocations and tensions. We will win with citizenship, project and commitment – not with weapons and threats. We are clearly distanced from any act of violence or illegal action that violates free elections and demand from the competent institutions to investigate any violation of the election law without any exception.
