However, it turns out that the facts stated are not true. The teachers’ site was full of cars on Wednesday.

« Everyone has long noticed that senior students have cars and drive to school. Their number is increasing. The school has limited the use of the site for both residents and their students.

The headmaster of the school J. Račkauskienė explained that one site school decided to use the education of children – sports and other activities.

« The Road Traffic Code is valid for everyone. The yard that residents talk about only the pedestrian path. This is about 200 meters. And they used to drive cars on the road. For a long time people built cars.

Road traffic rules apply to everyone.

The school housekeeper found ointment stains in the yard. And some cars were in the yard for months.

« Our students want active activities, they willingly go to play outside. We started thinking about setting up a gym. But so far it is decided to set up a volleyball court for the summer season. We brought sand a few days ago. the site, ”the director recalled.

Priority – not machines

The head of the educational establishment reminded that the school yard should be used for the needs of children, not the cars of the adjacent home.

« I also live in an apartment building, I realize that there are no spaces for machines. But the problem should not be solved at the expense of others. After all, the flowers are not built on the street but on the footpath. Those who drive on the sidewalk should understand that they violate the rules, » the director explained.

The school’s neighborhood has a center of Klaipeda City Teachers’ Education and Culture, which organizes all kinds of events, with many cars coming together.

« In the future, the issue of the reconstruction of the sports field should move. Along with the reconstruction, the problem of machine parking would be addressed, » the director hoped.
